Snow Dragon takes the melter to Florida for Cold Temperature Testing?  Believe it or not, Eglin Airforce Base is home to the largest environmental testing chambers in the world!  Snow Dragon is proud to say that we successfully completed three days of sub-zero temperatures at the McKinley Climatic Laboratory!  At the last stage of testing, the SND900 snowmelter was cold-started at -60F and the chamber temperature was lowered to -70F, where it ran for the rest of the 72 hour test!  Now thats cold!!.  For more information, please view Eglin AFB Test Press Release, also take a look at Eglin AFB Test Flyer.
